Dr. Mindie Nguyen, President of the International Association for the Study of the Liver (IASL) served as co-chair of the Advanced Research Training Course in collaboration with co-chair Dr. Jing Zhang at the Beijing Youan Hospital in Beijing, China on December 7, 2024. The intensive program provided young physicians with the opportunity to develop essential skills in research development, analysis, and publication, guided by international faculty members from the United States, Canada and China, including Dr. Ramsey Cheung from Stanford University and Dr. Samuel Lee from the University of Calgary, Alberta.
